The Role

* To draft and review a range of commercial contracts and advise on terms, terminations/renewals of commercial agreements.
* To provide ad hoc assistance to the business on matters including standard terms & conditions, NDAs, marketing material, intellectual property, consumer law matters.
* Keeping the Head of Legal informed about important issues and ability to present clearly and precisely, enabling others to understand the key facts and issues.
* Staying up to date with legal developments and key business information and being aware of the marketplace and company's position within it.
* Working with Company Secretary in governance project work across the company and Group.
* Assisting with corporate governance matters across the team.
* Working directly with boards and committees.
* Attendance to and minuting of board meetings.
* Drafting ad hoc minutes as and when required.
* Monitor compliance and data practices internally to ensure the business and its functions comply with the applicable requirements under the UK GDPR and relevant privacy legislation.
* Working with key internal stakeholders in the review of operations and projects and related data processing to ensure compliance with data privacy laws, and where necessary, assisting with monitoring data protection privacy impact assessments.

Requirements

The Candidate

* Candidates based in Abu Dhabi or open to relocating to Abu Dhabi will only be considered
* Industry experience across FinTech or Banking will only be selected
* At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
* International exposure is a must
* High level of communication skills in English

Salary will be dependent on experience
