Job description / Role
This position is for a British registered charity, and for the Founder and General Manager of the Charity in the UAE, a not for profit organisation established to assist and encourage a generation of influencers to raise awareness and funds for international development causes, thereby leading the way in promoting positive environmental and sustainable human development solutions.
The Part Time Finance Manager for Founder’s Private Office provides support on all her personal finance matters, to allow Founder to fully maximise her contribution in her charitable roles.
As this is a part time role, the candidate will ideally have an existing residents visa, possibly through family, or through their own visa for consultancy.
The role is a remote working role. The candidate will likely work from home. Once trained the candidate can work from any country they wish as the work is all remote access and cloud based. All training however will take place in Abu Dhabi. Once the right candidate has been found, a training schedule will be devised according to the candidate and Current Finance Manager availability. The handover period is expected to include 36 hours of supervision, handover and training.
Part-time position, flexible hours with a current average of 9 hours per week. The maximum amount of hours expected within one week would be 20 hours and the minimum is 7 hours, being 1 hour minimum per day.
This job pays AED 100 per hour.
Requirements
Please also note the following essential requirements:
• UK Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, AAT or equivalent), at least 5 years PQE.
• Experience working in the UK, with detailed knowledge of HMRC Personal Tax Rules and Legal requirements.
