Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The M&A division is in need of an experienced M&A practitioner to drive growth within this sector, focusing on opportunities across various industries. Clients will include owner-managed businesses, corporates, fund managers, insurance companies, banks and private equity firms in the United Arab Emirates.

Duties include:
* Identification, targeting and building of relationships with clients and targets across the various sectors that will lead to revenue generating opportunities from a consultancy standpoint
* Maintaining relationships through idea generation/origination and appropriate updates/ feedback
* Developing market intelligence and regional market knowledge
* Leading origination efforts across M&A, in coordination with regional and industry sector teams
* Leading client discussions and development of pitches / presentations to generate top-line opportunities
* Leading the delivery of multiple major engagements on a daily basis
* As a Partner,leading, supervising and mentoring a team of Associates, VP\'s and Directors
* Delivery of engagements to budget and required recovery levels
* Creation of a pipeline of \'secondary income\' opportunities introduced to other parts of the firm

Requirements

* Have significant and proven excellence in transaction execution
* Proven ability to manage a team of M&A practitioners that are able to successfully source, manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously
* Have a strong proven track record in M&A revenue generation
* Be seen as the \'go to\' M&A person for the United Arab Emirates, able to develop and maintain a credible and influential profile.
* Have experience in building high performance teams, investing in developing and retaining top talent, and encouraging a team oriented culture through effective team leadership and delegation, leading by setting a personal example
* Have experience in juggling a number of projects effectively
* Demonstrate the ability to confidently make tough and strategic decisions as Partner leading the M&A business for the UAE
* Have strong presentation skills and impact, being competent in presenting ideas clearly and convincingly so as to influence others - demonstrating personal presence, with the ability to earn trust and respect quickly
* Set high standards of excellence for self and others and pro-actively invests in personal development activities to stay ahead of latest thinking
