Job description / Role
About the role:
Plan, negotiate, design and implement strategic and tactical marketing activities for key partnerships across the retail, travel and lifestyle portfolio. Collaborate with stakeholders within Emirates Skywards, Corporate Communications, Marketing and Branding (CCMB) and Partners to identify opportunities to increase partner engagement and maximize revenue contribution.
What you will do:
- Develop and optimize quarterly and annual marketing plans in alignment with the Partnerships Account Leads, CCMB, Partnerships Activation team members and Partners. Identify cross-selling marketing opportunities with the financial cobrand portfolio to develop holistic member propositions and drive ROI.
- Conduct an in-depth review of the member partner engagement ecosystem with strategic partners, working with the Skywards Data Analytics team, CCMB and Partner Account Leads to identify segments of interest, lookalike models and promotional opportunities, to influence the annual marketing strategy and campaign planning.
- Project manage the marketing streams for partnership launches in collaboration with CCMB, Partner Account Leads and Partners. Collaborate with the Partnership Account Leads to curate member campaigns to promote Emirates Skywards strategic retail and travel products, driving acquisition and increased member engagement.
- Develop and leverage cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the Skywards Partnerships, Commercial, Product, Member Engagement and Strategy Enablement teams, CCMB and Partners; sharing partnership marketing expertise, identifying relevant marketing opportunities and driving synergies.
- Negotiate access to partner marketing channels to increase Emirates Skywards brand presence and position Skywards Miles as the loyalty currency in key strategic markets.
- Manage the end-to-end campaign briefing and implementation process with CCMB in collaboration with the Partnership Account Leads and Partners.
- Review campaign performance against KPIs and business case projections. Collaborate with the Partnerships Account Leads to develop and share campaign reflection insights on marketing channel performance and learnings to optimize future campaign planning.
- In the long term mentor direct reports within the Partnerships Activation team to drive a high performance culture.
Requirements:
This job might be for you if you have:
- Degree of Honours (12+3 or equivalent)n Marketing background
- 8+ yrs Marketing related domain
- Experience in working for a retail, travel or lifestyle brand.
You'll have an edge if you possess:
- Self-motivated, proactive and highly organised with the ability to prioritise objectively.
- Excellent negotiation skills. Adaptable and able to work under pressure.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
