Employment: Full Time

Looking for a full-time Pastry Chef at Roberto’s DIFC who has a strong background in fine dining and upscale Italian restaurants with over 5 year's experience.

Job Description:
• Operating and managing the pastry section of the kitchen and liaising with the Executive and Head Chefs to ensure a successful working environment.
• Creating new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers
• Monitor inventory levels and make appropriate orders
• Check quality of ingredients and condition of equipment and devices used for preparing pastries, desserts etc.
• Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to work more efficiently

Requirements

• Will be working 5 days a week
• Previous UAE experience is a MUST
• Previous upscale Hotel or Restaurant experience is a MUST
• Working knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process.
• In-depth knowledge of HACCP principles, food preparation, and food safety.
