About the Client:
The hiring company is a successful F&B group on high end casual dining in Dubai, UAE.

Job Role:
- Prepares quality baked goods such as breads, pastries and desserts to specifications and amount listed on order sheet
- Continually develops and updates baked items on menus
- Prepares and orders food supplies as needed
- Consults with the Head Chef and makes suggestions for new and exciting baked goods to embellish the menu
- Trains pastry team members in methodology, equipment, and technique to create appropriate desserts, pastries and breads
- Apply and ensure application of procedures and regulations concerning hygiene and safety
- Frequently communicates the status of all pastry food production to the Head Chef
- Supervises, monitors and delegates all, and extra, workload to subordinates

Requirements

Position Title: Pastry Sous Chef
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 7K AED all-inclusive, depending on experience and qualifications
Job Location: Dubai, UAE

Requirements:
- 40 years old and below
- At least 8 years of experience in the high-end casual or fine dining setting required
- Proven track record of cost control including food, equipments, labour and wastage to meet the goals and the hotel's financial goals
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
