Position Summary: Based within the Group’s Finance Department and reporting to the Financial Controller, the Payroll Accountant shall be responsible for the Group’s Payroll Processing, management of all payroll-related accruals as well as preparation of monthly reports, analyses and reconciliations.

Responsibilities:
• Engage with HR department and understand the list of HR incidents that has occurred during the period such as new joiners, leavers, sabbatical, increments, etc.
• Processing Payroll Accruals and payment details on Oracle and liaising with banks as needed to ensure it goes through with no issues.
• Coordinating with payroll service providers in the countries where we operate to calculate taxes and do other payroll related regulatory formalities.
• Maintaining vacation & payroll-related accruals.
• Maintaining and monthly updating balance sheet reconciliations of all Employee / payroll related balance sheet accounts including prepaid medical and life insurance accounts.
• Regularly reconcile finance workings against HR records.
• Preparing monthly payroll related analysis and reports for the review of the Financial Controller and the CFO.
• Discussing with the HR department and preparing payroll cash flow forecast for the treasury team assessing the requirements at entity levels and at Group level on a monthly basis.
• Ensure employee related information is dealt in a confidential manner.

Other areas:
As needed based on circumstances, he/she should be able to play multiple roles within the finance department providing active support in treasury, payroll AP, AR, etc.; without necessarily limiting himself/herself to areas that he/she is responsible.

Please note the salary range for this role is between 7-9,000 AED monthly.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Minimum level of qualification – Undergrad degree in finance and accounting or similar discipline or AAT or CAT
• Excellent analytical ability
• Proactive, hands-on problem solver
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task

Technical:
• Knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP and accounting system
