PDC/PRM Manager - NAME, People Data Centre

Within the market, the PDC/PRM manager champions the roadmap, adoption and engagement in the roll out of PRM capabilities, which include the Unilever Cloud solutions that enable Data Driven Marketing and Commerce

In the local markets, supports brand / market PRM roadmap development and helps shape the overall PRM strategy in the cluster

Building regional brand data acquisition strategies which are in line with brands JTBD and designated consumer journeys.

Assessing the technical landscape and tech infrastructure in the region for data driven marketing and cloud implementation

To work closely with all relevant stakeholders (including: media, media agencies, digital transformation, PDC and IT) to build DMP for our top markets.

Advises on data driven marketing best practice in market and proactively publishes knowledge share updates as part of the global PRM Community meetings, including repeatable toolkits

Builds and champions innovation & case studies to unlock / demonstrate the business value of PRM

Responsible for the ongoing updates and the quarterly presentation of the value/ROI delivered from deployed PRM programmes in the cluster

Expand the PDC expansion plans to build both capacity and capability and upscale our PDC team skills and capabilities on the ground.

About The Role:

The PDC/PRM Manager will be the lynchpin in Unilever's industry-leading data driven marketing and social & business analytics function, the champion of the use of personalised communications to drive better reach and engagement across Unilever's brands and categories in the NAME. This role exists to build capability, drive service and process improvement across the network. The ideal candidate will be digital native, results-focused, plugged into the world of consumer engagement, and have a strong experience and understanding of the value of using CRM to drive increased reach, engagement and business results.

The main responsibility of this role will be to set up a state of the art PRM function in NAME working with our global team in setting up the DMP and landing Unilever cloud. While, playing a supervisory role for the overall PDC expansion plans and to insure a smooth data usage and integration of all PDC pillars.

Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities
- Locally responsible for the solutions provided by the global SBA and PRM teams, liaison to senior management in market
- Be the local SBA / PRM product owner and receive all new briefs, feature and capability requests, which need to be challenged and specified before they're shared with the PRM analysts
- Tracks all local requests from the Digital Analyst, Consumer Insight Specialist and Digital Marketing Category Lead concerning the PRM applications
- Proactively manages the pipeline of work and demand by collecting, evaluating and passing along incoming briefs to CEC/SBA/PRM
- Work closely with the DX team (digital transformation) to accelerate the digitally transformation program of the organization by bringing in the latest knowledge and use cases about data driven marketing and commerce and by actively engaging with the DX team in developing best practices and local PRM use cases.

- Able to think strategically but also scan the detail on service delivery and anticipate likely risks, obstacles and customer demand
- Ability to nurture strong relationships with influential senior stakeholders, as well as support key delivery resources (analysts & operational roles)
- Excellent communicator upwards (able to articulate the essence of different services and their business value in the language of senior stakeholders), laterally to peers, and downward to key delivery resources.
- Able to "fail fast" and to admit errors of judgement (this will be inevitable)

Interfaces
- Reports into the PDC Cluster Director
- The job holder will work regularly with peers and senior stakeholders in the business to ensure that they embrace the PDC and understand their benefits (Primarily Brand, Media, Digital Transformation team & CMI team)
- Primary delivery responsibility to assigned regional (market / cluster) brand teams
- The job holder will work with PDC Delivery Managers & Analysts to understand how current processes work, whether there are any current workarounds, and how these can be improved
- Working with Capability Centre Lead on opportunities and prioritisation
- Working with the global PRM team on building use cases and developing PRM programs for the region

Skills And Experiences
- Ambassador of data driven marketing and commerce
- Has 6+ years of experience in Digital Marketing
- Excellence in Digital Marketing campaigns
- Knowledge of Adobe marketing cloud and/or Salesforce marketing cloud (or any similar tool)
- Deep understanding of the digital ecosystem (including social media & search) and its strategic move at global and local levels
- Strong analytical skills and appreciation of coding languages, data sources, data matching and data acquisition
- Strong data mining and research skills, with excellent story telling capability when it comes to presentation of findings
- An excellent communicator with senior stakeholders, peers and reports (conversational and presentational)
- Proven project management skills, particularly around assessing priorities and managing workloads
- Experienced in working in an agile environment and working in scrum / squad teams
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to understand and articulate customer needs in business and more technical vocabulary
- Experience managing relationships within a large, multinational, matrix organisation
- Experience working as or with marketing stakeholders/agencies and an understanding of their likely challenges and information requirements
- Experience planning & delivering CRM campaigns (Email / SMS marketing / Media)
- Self-starter, transparent and persuasive.
- Project management experience, particularly around managing delivery or implementation
- Experience executing personalized communications & tracking the impact of different personalisation techniques to drive business value
- Experience coordinating the introduction of a new internal service or capability at a major organisation.
- Passion for the social & digital world and its implications for business
