Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Summary:

The role holder will be responsible for providing general Human Resources administrative support. The role holder is also responsible for maintaining and updating information related to personnel in a timely and accurate manner.

Accountabilities:

Core Responsibilities:

• Provides HR services to GMG employees and serves as a point of contact for all HR activities and tasks
• Facilitates employee requests on an on-going basis. These may include but not limited to vacation requests, transfers, colleague certificates, etc.
• Prepares new visas / visa renewals / visa cancellation applications and sends to Group Government Relations Department for timely processing of the same
• Prepares employee related letters like employment certificates, salary certificates, bank letters, termination letters, experience certificates etc., in a timely and accurate manner
• Prepares full and final settlements of leaving staffs to ensure final dues are paid in time
• Reviews guidelines and agreement, for filing of all related documents to staff file on proper schedule
• Responds to employee enquiries in a timely manner to deliver a high standard of internal customer service
• Maintains and updates employee records, including personnel status updates, terminations and new hires, in line with the defined filing and archiving guidelines

Self-Management:

• Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year
• Takes ownership of his/her own learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the manager and agreeing on the individual development plan which goes beyond just training and development
• Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth

Requirements

Educational Qualifications and Certificates:

• High School/ Diploma
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred

Experience:

• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience

Skills:

Language skills:

• Fluent in English and Arabic skills (written and spoken)

Additional skills:

• Understanding of Labor Law
• Understanding of Government Rules and Regulations
