Based in our Jebel Ali Freezone campus and reporting to the Director of Operations and Distribution, this new role is not for the faint hearted. You will have an intrinsic focus on Lean Processes and Change Management. You will not only have the ability to tackle obstacles and problem solve, you will seek out opportunities to do so. You will be assertive, passionate and driven - focussed on enhancing our customer's experience at every touchpoint.
You will have managed Lean Deployments across Enterprise level and be a certified Lean practioner and have the ability to see the holistic impact of Lean not just in the local team, but across the Emerson organisation in the Middle East & Africa and beyond.
This role is responsible for setting and implementing the Perfect Execution*, manufacturing and supply chain strategy for Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions across the Middle East & Africa. The focus of the role is to lead Perfect Execution, lean manufacturing - supply chain - enterprise efforts by training the organization and driving perfecting execution projects in manufacturing / distribution, order execution and back office.
* You will manage all manufacturing, production and supply chain planning, process engineering, new product / process introduction.
* Continue developing & lead implementation of MEA Perfect Execution Strategy, Initiatives, and Projects.
* Facilitate Perfect Execution Mile Deep projects and Mile Wide process development in the region
* Develop Perfect Execution supporting material, training, facilitation and metrics
* Facilitate operational best practices including Lean process/tools, variability reduction, root cause/corrective action, S&OP and tools specially focused on the Quote to Cash process
* Accountable for the Commercial & Residential Solutions MEA Group Perfect Execution Metric Performance, and other operational metrics. including lead time reductions, service levels, inventory management, and quote to cash cycle improvements
* Drive Speed & flexibility into our Supply chain and local manufacturing capabilities using perfect execution & lean tools
* Engage with Sales & Marketing, Engineering, and Customer level stake holders to train, lead, and implement PE improvements.
* Develop long range supply chain and manufacturing roadmap including new manufacturing processes, cost reductions, service level improvement programs.
* Develop an organization that is customer focused with perfect execution.
* Drive Cost Reduction Programs
* Support new product introductions

Requirements
In order to be considered for this role you will have a solid understanding of Perfect Execution - Emerson (Preferred) / Lean Supply Chain Deployment.
You will be a strong Project Manager and Coach,be passionate about delivering results, and have the ability to take reluctant stakeholders down the path of effective change management
You will have a Bachelors in Engineering Required and preferably a MBA and Lean certification.
You will have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role, within a large global enterprise, in order to understand the complexities of a multinational matrix organization.
You will have experience of working with local and enterprise IT to maximize and enhance the use of a global ERP system (SAP or Oracle)
