Job description / Role
This opportunity is with a well-known university in the UAE accredited by Quality Assurance Agency (QAA).
In this position you would be responsible for the following:
- Administer and manage the performance management cycle for all academic and non-academic units within the university.
- This includes selecting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), setting baselines and targets, preparing performance contracts, and conducting balanced scorecard analysis.
- Conduct interim reviews to assess progress and prepare mid-year and final reports on performance achievements and gaps for senior management.
- Analyze institutional and college-level data to draw conclusions and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Perform thorough checks to validate data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and maintain visualization dashboards and reports, such as the Fact Book and KPI assessments, using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
- Schedule and administer surveys for students, staff, and external stakeholders to gather data relating to the university’s KPIs.
- Compile and submit survey reports to Deans, Managers, and the Cabinet to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Prepare annual Strategic Plan Monitoring Reports to track the university's progress towards its strategic goals.
- Oversee benchmarking processes to compare the university’s performance against peer and aspirant universities.
- Develop, cleanse, and analyze data for internal reports and external publications, such as those related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and THE Impact Rankings.
- Collaborate with other team members within OIPE and provide support on tasks related to institutional effectiveness as directed by the Executive Director.
- Work closely with the Institutional Research unit and other stakeholders to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
Requirements:
To be successful you would ideally possess:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, business, or a related field is required. A master's degree is preferred.
- At least five years of experience in strategy-related tasks, data analysis, dashboard preparation, and professional report writing.
