PHP Developer

Job description / Role

The UAE’s award-winning Business Setup Consultancy, Creative Zone Group is expanding across the Middle East by providing an end-to-end solution, right from setting up a business to help growing and sustaining them within this dynamic market.

Due to this exciting growth, we are looking for a number of experienced PHP Developers to join the product team within one of our group entities in Dubai. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic PHP Developer to lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post launch support for a high profile project we are undertaking.

Requirements

To join our team you will have:

- Bachelors Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
- Previous PHP developer experience supporting international projects
- Excellent knowledge of Yii-2.0 framework and experience building libraries using abstract classes, interfaces, traits, queue.
- Good knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL/PostgreSQL), database designing and query optimization techniques.
- Highly proficient with the JavaScript language and its modern ES6+ syntax and features.
- Understanding of server-side rendering ( Azure Architecture ) and its benefits and use cases
- Knowledge of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms
- Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean code
- Proficiency with modern development tools, like Babel, Webpack, and Git
- Working knowledge of cloud servers (AWS/DigitalOcean/Cloudways), related services and server administration like setting
up Apache/Nginx etc.
- A creative mindset with great attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills ideally in both Hindi and English , other languages also considered.
- Currently based in Dubai
- Available to start work as soon as possible and able to commit to a 1 year full time contract.
