Job description

Due to the continued success of our new school, GEMS Founders School - Dubai South, we are seeking to recruit a physics teacher available for next academic year August 2026.

We are British Schools Overseas (BSO) accredited gaining outstanding judgements in all standards, allowing us to offer the NQT, QTS and iPGCE programmes to our teachers through the TES Institute. Skills

Successful candidates will need to:

  • Embody and role model our core values of grow, flourish, discover
  • Hold a BEd or bachelors degree major in physics or equivalent or PGCE with QTS (physics)
  • Have proven experience of teaching in primary classes
  • Have the ability to share exemplary teaching practices
  • A creative and enthusiastic approach, both inside and outside the classroom
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students and parents
  • Have a proven track record of providing outstanding learning and teaching
  • Have aspiration to work in a world-class school with real prospects for enhancing their career
  • Be willing to make a positive contribution to our school community and culture through active engagement in our extra-curricular programme and community-based events
