We are recruiting for an outstanding physics teacher to join the GEMS Education network in the UAE from August 2026.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning within a dynamic and forward-thinking international school environment. The successful candidate will bring strong subject knowledge, creativity in the classroom, and a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring students to develop a lifelong interest in physics and the wider sciences.

Experience teaching within the British curriculum and/or the IB framework is highly desirable, along with the ability to contribute to the continued success and innovation of the science department.

Skills

Successful applicants will have:

• A bachelor's degree in physics or a closely related field, with a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/PGDE) or teaching licence.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for physics and science education.
• A proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
• Experience working within the British curriculum and/or IB programmes (preferred but not mandatory).
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
• Availability to start in August 2026.
