Piling Rigger

Job description / Role

Responsible for setting up and operating rigging systems used in piling operations, which involve driving foundation piles into the ground to support structures.

Key Responsibilities
• Set up rigging equipment such as cranes, hoists, pulleys, and winches.
• Secure loads and ensure proper weight distribution for lifting.
• Assist in the positioning and installation of piles using heavy machinery.
• Inspect rigging gear for wear and damage before use.
• Follow safety protocols and communicate with team members using hand signals or radios.
• Collaborate with engineers and site supervisors to execute lifting plans.

• Knowledge of rigging techniques and equipment
• 2 years experience as rigger for Piling Works
• Ability to understand blueprints and lifting plans.
• Certification in rigging or heavy equipment operation (preferred).
• Strong understanding of safety regulations.
