Pipe Preparator up to 4.1k Aed for a Leading Marine and Off-Shore Company in UAE

• POSITION: Piper Preparator
• SALARY: up to 2,150 AED basic salary depending on experience and qualifications plus 1,950 AED other allowances and overtime pay.
• HIRING COMPANY: Leading Marine and Offshore Services
• WORK LOCATION: Dubai, UAE
• AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately (max 1-month)
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to ANY nationality
• Male, below 40 years old
• Overseas candidates are welcome to apply

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Identify the scope of work from Owner’s specifications, tenders, work lists and on-board and shop inspections
• Prepare and update of ship’s weight files for structural repairs and files for miscellaneous steel repairs
• Preparation and updating of “mark-up” drawings and weight estimations
• Preparation of proposal drawings for approval
• Preparation of fabrication drawings and work processes
• Raise materials requisitions
• Prepare Man-hours estimation for work processes
• Developing work descriptions
• Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• A graduate Higher Secondary Level or Diploma in Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the same industry
• Knowledge and Experience in Ship Repair and new building
• Should be familiar with the related computer packages, including AutoCAD 2000, to produce detailed drawings
• Excellent communication skills
