Job description / Role

Job Purpose

Responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, progress measurement, reporting, and completion of projects within approved contractual timelines and costs.

Accountabilities/Expectations:

• Proficiency in using Primavera P6 and Excel.
• Ability to support in the preparation of project controls plan, planning procedure, or any other project planning procedure as required.
• Ability to prepare project schedules, bar charts, histograms, pie charts, PMS, and all other documents as required for execution of projects based on the contract terms and conditions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of engineering phases in infrastructure.
• Understanding of EPC programs, ability to prepare baseline programs, planning packages, etc.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret contracts.
• Understanding of productivity norms.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Works closely with immediate associates and liaises with project managers and other senior staff in the division.
• Monitoring and reporting of project status (weekly, monthly, or any other reports as required).
• Ability to prepare and maintain risk registers, understanding of risks and opportunities.
• Ability to support in the preparation of ITT packages and experience in evaluating tenders.

Experience and Qualifications Required

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure, with at least 3 years on design-build projects.
• Experience with roads, multilevel buildings, landscaping, etc.
• 2-3 years' experience in the design phase desired.
• Good command of English (written, verbal, and writing).
• Expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Office is a must.
