Job description / Role
Urgently Looking for a Planner
• Vendor Management
• Responsible for ordering and management of Component inventory & Finished Goods
• Expediting shipments /production to meet speed initiatives
• Short term and long term capacity planning
• Responsible for issuing component and finished good PO s and the negotiation with vendors to secure production
• Communicates new launch forecasts and medium range receipt plans
• Build relationship as a trusted advisor
• Manage speed to market initiatives
• Responsible for communicating/updating changes to open orders - status reporting to brand partners
• Review & communicate feasibility & timing for all buy requests
• Informs Brand for use of excess inventory in Semi Annual Sales and Clearance buys; assist with component run-outs to reduce inventory liability
• Speed and Agility
• Understand and support business and process changes
• Identifies opportunities to reduce lead times
• Identifies opportunities to gain agility within the supply chain
• Inventory Management
• Executes buys using ERP ensuring all master data is accurate
• Manage to component inventory targets
• Assist Inventory Control with Physical Inventory & provide support to resolve issues
• Involved in quarterly review of Excess & Obsolete reconciliation and provides explanations/reason for excess inventory
• Responsible for analyzing data, reviewing reports and resolving issues to maintain a clean Book of Business with focus on inventory turns
Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience in Planning
Experience in Luxury industry
Good Communication skills
Good Interpersonal Skills
Valid UAE driving License
Involved in quarterly review of Excess & Obsolete reconciliation and provides explanations/reason for excess inventory
• Responsible for analyzing data, reviewing reports and resolving issues to maintain a clean Book of Business with focus on inventory turns
