Job Summary

As Planner – Service

Plan, schedule, quote and mobilize service engineers in an efficient manner while supporting company objectives regarding revenue, utilization, and retention. Prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY &AUTHORITY:

- Report status and development while maintaining regular dialogue with the department manager, informing and advising on both the plus and minus factors impacting the project. In effect, applying a ‘no surprise’ approach to communication.
- Establish, schedule, document and execute required work scopes of the project and track quotations/ proposals/ status, associated purchase orders and change orders as required through the duration of the project.
- Issue/ track purchase orders for parts and services for internal and third-party requirements.
- Receive daily service calls and work orders.
- Assign tasks to appropriate personnel.
- Verify completion of jobs.
- Distribute workload evenly and efficiently among service engineers.
- Schedule employee work hours and time-off the job.
- Ensure that adequate human resources are always available.
- Monitor and evaluate the work of service personnel.
- Assist in performance reviews.
- Plans, schedules and reviews workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis.
- Monitor workflow standards as per BPA
- Perform any other work-related tasks as required as assigned.
- Facilitate for the growth and success of the aftermarket operations team
- Coordinates activities that affect day-to-day and contractual/ operational decisions and business partners
- Facilitate quality inspections as an internal auditor through desktop audits and ensure the QMS/ BPA standards are met.
- Responsible for tracking and analyzing reports for budgets, operation activities, department metrics.
- Identify the needs and pain areas of the department and facilitate successful implementation of continual improvement projects to eliminate the pain areas.
- Work with field personnel supervisors to facilitate field tickets and invoicing customer.
- Review scorecard report and work with order management team to resolve outstanding POs
- Maintain contractual warranty registers, review the warranty claims and attend warranty meetings for assigned customers
- Oversee demand planning and management processes for new and existing projects based on internal business meets evaluating the Quote win% and PO receipt plans vs lead time of spare parts.
- Develop demand forecasts based on material requisition documents received from subject matter experts to meet business unit and organization goal.
- Work with customers, sales team, and supply chain management and update about availability to improve forecast accuracy.
- Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities to meet customer demands.
- Assist, involve and coordinate with other team Planners as needed.
- Maintain inventory levels based on future customer demands.
- Address demand related queries and issues in a timely manner with all involved internal stakeholders.
- Schedule monthly / weekly forecast meetings with all sales and internal / external customers as required
- Identify opportunities to meet customer demands during constrained supply.
- Maintain demand planning processes and systems to improve forecasting accuracy
- Identify areas of improvements and recommend action plans

Requirements

Experience:

- 4+ years’ experience in operations/ scheduling/ planning functions years’ experience in operations/ scheduling/
