Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

A Planning Analyst is responsible for incorporating macro trends into regional forecasts, as well as product discontinuations. The forecast build should also incorporate business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, replenishment analysts, and other sources where applicable across 24month horizon.

KPIs:

- S&OP process adherence
- Forecast Accuracy (MAPE and BIAS) and completeness
- End-to-end shared KPIs:
- NTS Delivery
- UFR
- Inventory
- SLOB provisions

Main Responsibilities:

Forecasting and S&OP Management:
- Maintain and understand the sales data at different aggregation levels (Brands, Sub-brands, SKUs, variants, sizes, Distribution channels, demand groups and demand locations).
- Gather information and document assumptions based on historical data, business intelligence gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailers, and other sources.
- Produce unconstrained base demand plan utilizing statistical modelling in collaboration with Central planning team.
- Maintain & validate assumptions of activities calendar and events forecasting building blocks.
- Facilitate parts of the S&OP process to gain consensus and alignment with all stakeholders involved in the process to arrive at one unbiased aligned number, practicing the IBP concepts.
- Analyses gaps (financials, capacities, inventory etc.) from unit based plans to drive alignment between business functions.
- Measure and track the forecast accuracy at different levels and initiate action plans to continuously improve forecast accuracy.
- While managing a group of brands, maintain the lead in supporting the S&OP process by ensuring that local market insights are fed back to the Dubai head office throw a two stage process.

Risk management and Inventory Health:
- Work with the Medical team to identify, manage and communicate supply criticalities to all stakeholders outside the 3month horizon. Collaborates with the regional supply planners to assign the right priority and action plan to minimize such supply risks.
- Performs SLOB risk analysis and initiate action plans with marketing/commercial team to keep SLOB provisions at minimum level.

New Products Introduction:
- Locally own NPI project management from supply chain point of view, collaborating with regional supply planners, regulatory, marketing, commercial and operations team to ensure successful on time NPI launch up the point that is handed over to OPEX.
- Manage Phase in Phase Out (PIPO) changes at SKU level and communicate changes to all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Data Governance to ensure product codes are created in the system at the right time.

Requirements

- University degree in Engineering, Business Management, or similar.
- Courses in Supply Chain/Logistics

Work experience:
- 3 years’ experience, in Supply Chain.
- Hands on experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning and S&OP.
- Prior ERP (JD Edwards) experience.
- BP experience or qualification.
- Specific competence requirements
- Experience working with quantitative & qualitative numbers, creating reports.
- Expert in Excel, Skilled enough in Word and Power Point.
