Planning And Project Control Engineer

Job description / Role

We are looking for experienced Project Planning & Cost Control Engineer to join our growing team in Dubai. This role plays a vital part in the planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management of Oil & Gas and EPC projects—ensuring timely, efficient, and cost-effective execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules (Primavera P6 / MS Project).
• Track progress, highlight delays, and propose recovery plans.
• Maintain PMS updates and coordinate weekly reporting to clients.
• Monitor project budgets, prepare cost reports, and manage forecasts.
• Prepare and evaluate payment certificates and ensure cash flow.
• Perform risk assessments and apply Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Support tendering process, bid proposals, and pre-qualifications.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field
• 8–12 years of experience in planning & control in Oil & Gas in UAE
• Experience with ADNOC projects preferred
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and cost control tools
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, EVM, and KPIs
• Certifications like PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, CCP, PSP are a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills

Salary:
AED 7,000 to 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
