Planning Engineer

Job description / Role

• Prepare baselines and revised programs
• Prepare Extension of Time Claims and delay analysis
• Prepare contractual letters to client, consultant and subcontractors
• Estimate the required manpower & monitoring the actual manpower
• Maintain records for all variations and additional works of the project
• Attend client progress meetings
• Prepare dashboards and reports
• Update overall project schedule in primavera p6
• Review and monitor subcontractors' programs and reports
• Monitor submission and approval of subcontractors, materials and drawings
• Prepare cash flow, S curve and histogram
• Prepare Periodic Material Procurement Schedule considering long lead time
• Prepare and submit periodic and ad hoc reports to Management and Client
• Prepare and deliver required presentations
• Update Project Registers (Procurement, Subcontract, Document & Drawings)
• Identify risks and critical activities and recommend corrective solutions

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of post graduate work experience, 3 of which as Planning Engineer in the filed of high-rise building
• Professional in using relevant computer application
• Professional in Contractual Correspondence
• Good negotiation and communication skills

Hospitality: The group entered Hospitality field by establishing "Samaya Hotel", a five star luxury hotel, which is located in Deira - Dubai. The hotel is managed by "Samaya for Hotels & Resorts" & "Samaya for Hotel Apartment". There are still other hotel projects will be launched in Dubai.

Education: To develop Human in particular & the society in general, the group has established Al Yarmouk Private University & Al Yarmouk Schools in Syria in addition to multi stages schools in Syria, Jordan & Turkey. Furthermore, the management used to provide scholarships for top students.

Health Care: Since Human's care is core interest, the group has decided to launch a new hospital in coordinating with University Of Freiburg - Germany, the hospital will be provided with the professional / qualified specialists and equipped with the highest medical technologies.
