Role Description:

To track and monitor progress of the project (Design and Construction) and have the team aware of the project status. Liaise with Construction Manager, Project Manager and Planning Manager for the progress and updates.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares baseline and current schedule program and prepares monthly report & recovery plan.
• Update the program in weekly and monthly basis.
• Establishes milestones for the total project or major portions of the project.
• Reviews project work activities to ensure support of project milestones.
• Plans, organizes, and supervises schedule resource loading and leveling.
• Coordinates development of all bulk commodity release and installation curves.
• Integrates appropriate manpower requirements for each discipline/specialty relative to the overall project needs.
• Determines quantity and manpower levels in support of the project needs and schedule philosophy.
• Provide project management support in the development and maintenance of the activities, logic, resources and progress of the approved integrated project schedule against the baseline.
• Provide the Project Manager and Discipline Engineers with weekly progress updates, forecast completions, together with critical path and trend analyses.
• Integrate schedules from engineering, architects, sub-contractors and owners to create a master program schedule.
• Consistent assessment of the impact of approved changes and any deviations from the key project targets and milestones, including productivity monitoring and ‘What if?’ scenarios to aid project management decision-making.

Requirements

Qualification / Requirements:

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering)
• Minimum of ten (10) years postgraduate experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in planning of constructions projects, of which from three (3) years experience is in planning and programming of roads and infrastructure projects using latest programming software P6 Primavera
• Must have a very good experience with latest the software Primavera 6
• Must have Good background in developing the reports using Microsoft office tools
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred to be PMP or APMP Certified
• Experience within GCC (preferred)
