Planning Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planning Engineer to join our dynamic construction team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in project scheduling and coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of our construction projects.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard software.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather essential project data and update timelines accordingly.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues, providing timely solutions to keep the project on track.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports and forecasts to stakeholders.
- Assist in resource allocation and optimization to improve project efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven 03 years experience as a Planning Engineer, preferably in the construction industry in GCC
- Strong proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and project management principles.
