Planning Engineer - Infrastructure

Job description / Role

- Plans, designs, manages, executes and reports tests, using appropriate tools and techniques and works within regulations.
- Ensures risks associated with deployment are adequately understood and documented.
- Creates the specification and design of systems to meet defined business needs. Has the ability to work with business and technology stakeholders to translate business problems into technical designs. Able to visualise the ideal user service, come up with design ideas and possible design approaches.
- Explores different approaches to solving problems
- Maintains the security, confidentiality and integrity of information systems through compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Designs, implements and operates controls and management strategies to allow this.

Salary:
AED 15,000 to 25,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Strong Experience in Infrastructure Projects and Design Consultancy.
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction or related field and 12 years demonstrable experience in all aspects of civil supervision on major road, highway and general infrastructure projects preferably in the UAE or other Gulf region.
- Certification in planning and scheduling of projects and in using Primavera applications (Primavera Project Management / P6 and Primavera Contract Management I Expedition) and cost engineering with minimum 10 years’ experience, three of which should be in a similar role with engineering consultancy or project management consultancy.
