Job description / Role
Taylor Sterling is searching for an experienced Senior Planning Manager for our client the global leader in technology based engineering, specialising in structural steel work.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local laws
• Provide overall management of division-related planning issues
• Set schedule for project and ongoing development
• Advise the Planning Director on all planning-related matters
• Methods and techniques of effective technical report preparation and presentation
• Budgeting and overseeing of expenditure
• Perform surveys and field studies
Requirements
• Relevant degree
• At least 5 years experience in steel work
• Min 15 years experience gained primarily in a contracting environment
• GCC experience mandatory
• Good understanding of welding methodologies
• Experience in fabrication and erection
• Previous experience working for a main steel contractor
