Planning Manager

Job description / Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Planning Manager to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning and execution of all projects within our project management consultancy. The ideal candidate will have experience working on both the Contractor and PMC/Client side.

Responsibilities:
-Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
-Collaborate with project managers and teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives.
-Conduct regular project reviews to assess progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
-Analyze project data to anticipate potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
-Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure everyone is updated on project developments.
-Prepare and deliver regular reports to senior management on project status and performance metrics.
-Lead project planning meetings and clearly communicate expectations to team members.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in architectural or civil engineering; a master’s degree is a plus.
-15-20 years of experience in planning and project management within the PMC industry, preferably in the UAE.
-PMP or equivalent certification is required.
-Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Proven leadership ability to motivate and guide teams towards successful project completion.
-Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
