Planning Manager

Job description / Role

Guildhall is hiring a Planning Manager for a major contractor delivering landmark building developments in the region. The Planning Manager will be responsible for developing and managing the overall project schedule, coordinating with all stakeholders, monitoring progress and critical paths, identifying risks and delays, and supporting timely delivery through effective planning, reporting, and schedule control across all project phases

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules to ensure timely project delivery
• Coordinate with project teams to establish milestones and deliverables
• Provide regular progress updates and risk assessments to senior management
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, delays, and issues to maintain project timelines
• Ensure all project plans align with client specifications and project requirements

• Proven experience in planning and scheduling for large-scale infrastructure and/or marine construction projects
• Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project
• Airport related project experience or large public building experience is highly preferred
• Experience working with main contractors on complex, fast-track projects
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
