Plant Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our readymix concrete facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all plant equipment and machinery, while leading a skilled maintenance team to uphold the highest standards of performance. This role is critical in maintaining operational continuity and optimizing productivity in our state-of-the-art production environment.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the maintenance team, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure high levels of performance and safety.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of plant equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to production operations.
- Manage maintenance budgets, track expenses, and report on maintenance-related KPIs to senior management.
- Collaborate with production teams to understand equipment performance needs and address any maintenance-related concerns promptly.
- Oversee repairs and maintenance of various plant machinery, including batching plants, mixers, conveyors, and other related equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history using our maintenance management software.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote safe working practices within the maintenance department.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance practices, integrating new techniques and technologies into the maintenance program.

- Proven experience in a maintenance supervisor role, preferably within the readymix concrete or heavy manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems related to plant equipment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of maintenance technicians.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems and software for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and other departments.
- Relevant technical certifications or degrees in engineering, mechanical, or electrical disciplines are preferred.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance standards in the construction and manufacturing sectors.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts, as required to support plant operations.
