Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Plant Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, management, and strategic direction of the plant. This includes overseeing all aspects of production, scheduling, safety, quality control, documentations and reports, maintenance, and staff management.

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications in Operations Management or Process Engineering is a plus.

Experience:
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in plant operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role in a petrochemical or manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing production, maintenance, and quality control in a complex, high-volume plant setting.
• In-depth knowledge of petrochemical production processes, machinery, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Requirements:

Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve production or operational issues effectively.
• Familiarity with production management tools, ERP systems, and plant automation technologies.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze operational data and make data-driven decisions to improve plant performance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and specialized plant management software.
