Job summary

We are seeking an experienced control systems engineer to design, implement, and support advanced automation and control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC/DCS programming, system integration, and commissioning, with a proven track record in industrial projects, preferably in oil & gas, energy, or fire & safety systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and troubleshoot control systems, including PLCs, DCS, and related automation hardware/software.
• Develop and implement control logic and automation strategies.
• Lead commissioning activities, system integration, and on-site support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams (electrical, mechanical, instrumentation).
• Provide technical support, diagnostics, and resolution of control system issues in the field.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, instrumentation, or control engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 6 years of proven experience in control systems engineering.
• Strong expertise in PLC/DCS programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Schneider, ABB, Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell, Yokogawa).
• Hands-on experience in commissioning, integration, and troubleshooting automation systems.
• Exposure to oil & gas, power, energy, or fire & gas safety systems (preferred).
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
