Job description / Role

Key tasks
Job Description:
• To attend Morning Briefing daily
• To go through PPM Check list on daily basis
• Conducts regular planned preventive maintenance.
• Undertakes plumbing/mechanical repairs, servicing and refurbishment of all hotel equipments as to the required standard.
• Undertakes fabrications, pipe laying and welding repairs as required.
• Records details of work completed, purchase requisitions, stores requisitions and other workshop documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
• Use of safety "Tag Out" system.
• Observes the provisions of the relevant policies and procedure (POMEC) for hotel.
• Ensures that work Health, Safety & Environment policy and procedures and all relevant health, safety environmental legislation are observed.
• Undertakes all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the relevant work rules and standards.
• Responds immediate to all work requests which concern Health and Safety.
• Responds to guest requests promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
• Completes all work orders with due diligence.
• Checks on performance of air-conditioning and chill water systems.
• Cooperates with all engineering colleagues in detention of failures of air-condition and refrigeration system and function set up.
• Effective use of Building Management System (BMS).
• Undertakes all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the relevant work rules and standards.
