Plumbing Draughtsman - MEP

Job description / Role

We are looking for a skilled plumbing draughtsman to prepare detailed shop drawings for water supply, drainage, and stormwater systems in line with project and authority standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed layouts for potable water, drainage, and stormwater systems.
• Coordinate drawings with civil, structural, and electrical services.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements (DM, DEWA, DCD).
• Revise drawings as per site conditions and consultant redlines.
• Maintain drawing logs, version history, and issue records.
• Support in submission for authority approvals.

Requirements

Diploma in mechanical engineering or drafting.
4–6 years UAE experience in plumbing drafting.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit and knowledge of DCD/DEWA standards.
Familiarity with codes such as IPC, UPC, or BS is a plus.
