Overview

Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Project Support Manager for our client ADNOC Gas in Abu Dhabi within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business. Due to the nature of the projects and client expectations, the position will be client office with a possibility of onshore office based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement/Construction Manager to ensure the project is executed in accordance with ADNOC Onshore and project procedures and shareholder expectations. Directly manages Procurement/Contracts for a high-profile client.

Responsibilities

• Extensive experience in project management, project control, and contracts management.
• Proven track record of handling mega projects.
• ADNOC projects experience is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide project management support to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop and implement project management plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Manage project risks, interfaces, issues, and changes.

Qualifications

Expected:

• Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent.
• Good understanding of project management elements and standards including contract terms and conditions.
• 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry or other related industrial experience.
• At least 8-10 years in project management handling logically inter-related major projects.
• Prior experience of working with EPC contractors, operating companies, or engineering consultants.
• Good knowledge of engineering, fabrication, construction, planning, resource allocation, contract management, and administrative functions.
• Gas compression and dehydration experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of international codes and standards related to the oil and gas industry.
• Fluency in English with good communication skills.
• Computer literate.
