PMC Senior Planning Engineer

Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for a PMC Senior Planning Engineer to join Al Dhafra Petroleum project. This position will be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities
- Ensure that client relationships are maintained at all levels within the project.
- Create and sustain a good team spirit within the Wood project team and client.
- Monitor and review planning and reporting requirements of the project.
- Monitor and review PMC planning, scheduling and reporting techniques to record man-hour and business costs as per client contractual requirements.
- Monitor and review the EPC Contractor's detailed planning, schedule and progress measurement procedures.
- Monitor, review and verify the EPC Contractor's monthly progress and invoices.
- Monitor and review the EPC Contractor's resource plans and execution methodology to ensure validity of schedules.
- Contribute to preparation of weekly, monthly and as required status reports and/or presentations to client
- Monitor and review variations to the contract in order to safeguard budget and schedule integrity.

Requirements

Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Engineering
- Minimum 15 years of experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similiar role
- A proven track record in engineering and construction of oil and gas, petrochemical or similar facilities
- A pro-active approach to solving problems and getting the job done
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Expert with Primavera P6 and spreadsheets, with database capability
- ADNOC experience
