Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client, an emerging technology company based in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Program Management Specialist to collaborate & coordinate with product owners & their teams, to develop strategy & execution plans, including next-level milestones/ deliverables, timelines, resource needs and anticipated risks/ roadblocks.

The key responsibilities of the position include:

• Liaise with different Stakeholders/ Product owners, to collect & document product/ project requirements
• Establish, Track and Manage milestones and deliverables, to help ensure overall product/ project timelines
• Act as a first escalation level in resolving critical issues (e.g., resource needs), and involve the management appropriately where further escalation is required, to help project owners successfully deliver on time
• Facilitate collaboration and coordination on cross functional/ corporate initiatives
• Facilitate progress review updates and discussions, with follow ups to ensure appropriate actions and decisions are taken to remove bottlenecks
• Enforce change management discipline so that changes are prioritized and impact assessed before submission to governance/ management approval
• Put together weekly/ monthly reports and presentation decks for progress reviews
• Continuously align PMO tools to organization’s needs and priorities

Salary:
AED 18,000 to 25,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following background:

• Proven skills to build relationships, influence stakeholders and manage change across all levels and functions of the organization
• Ability to manage and balance multiple complex cross-functional projects simultaneously
• Ability to create & maintain deadlines, and set & meet goals
• Ability to effectively prioritize, execute and follow-up in a timely manner, while anticipating & resolving problems and roadblocks
• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.)
• 5+ years’ experience in program management or strategy consulting, preferably in emerging technology/ startup/ innovation space
