PMS Officer (Shore-Based - Vessel PMS Coordination)

Job description / Role

This is a shore-based role responsible for coordinating vessel PMS activities, ensuring data accuracy and supporting the Technical Manager in fleet maintenance operations.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Carry out daily administrative coordination for the Technical Department as assigned by the Technical Manager including the preparation and distribution of overdue job counts to all vessels during the first week of each month.
• Provide CFM (cloud fleet management) training and familiarization to new employees and new crew.
• Check replication issues in office and vessel systems. Check import /export files for discrepancies.
• Provide oversight to junior data entry team members
• Check the running hours every month and report to the vessel if the data is wrongly updated.
• Monitor vessel spare parts purchased history, location, and inventory updates.
• Any other tasks as directed by the Technical Manager

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Familiar with preventive maintenance system.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Junior Engineer or Third Engineer
• Experience on similar vessel type preferred (e.g., AHTS, DP2, Barge, Tanker, OSV).

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Technical education (Engineering Diploma, 3rd Engineer License or Equivalent)
• Preferred STCW Regulation III/1 – OICEW Certificate (Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch)
