Job description / Role
Summary:
As a Pool & Beach Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable experience at our pool and beach areas. Your role involves maintaining cleanliness, providing exceptional service, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. You will assist guests with their needs, manage pool and beach equipment, and support in creating a welcoming and relaxing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Guest Service: Greet guests warmly and provide assistance with pool and beach-related inquiries. Ensure a high level of customer service and address any concerns or special requests promptly.
- Maintenance & Cleanliness: Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of pool and beach areas, including seating, umbrellas, and surrounding spaces. Ensure that all equipment is in good condition and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Safety: Enforce safety rules and regulations, including pool and beach safety protocols. Ensure all guests adhere to safety guidelines and report any potential hazards to the supervisor.
- Setup & Organization: Set up pool and beach areas with necessary equipment, such as loungers, towels, and umbrellas. Ensure that all areas are well-organized and visually appealing.
- Inventory Management: Assist with managing and tracking inventory related to pool and beach equipment, including towels, loungers, and safety gear.
- Activity Support: Support and assist with poolside or beachside activities and events as required. Engage with guests to enhance their experience.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies and provide first aid if necessary. Follow established procedures for handling incidents.
- Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the pool and beach areas. Perform regular inspections to ensure the environment remains safe and welcoming.
- Reporting: Complete and submit necessary reports regarding daily operations, incidents, and maintenance needs to the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a luxury hospitality / waterpark / recreational or educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and the ability to enforce them.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends, and holidays as needed.
