Employment: Full Time

As the Portfolio Data Management Specialist you will be responsible for timely delivery of high quality data to meet business requirements across the organisation; whilst producing and validating the risk and performance of data, maintaining financial structures in different systems, managing data flows to systems, supporting on projects and data vendor management activities

Description

* Monitor to ensure that support systems are generating accurate performance and benchmark data
* Carry out agreed validation processes to ensure performance and risk data is complete, up to date and explained
* Manage data flows from core system to satellite systems and vice versa
* Handle and explain queries related to performance and risk data
* Collaborate with external data vendors and internal partners to ensure delivery of quality data, robust and cost effective solutions
* Participate in knowledge sharing initiatives and assist in the coaching and training of other team members
* Develop and maintain relevant KPI that provides input for process enhancement initiatives.
* Provide direct support to line manager on stakeholder engagement and team management responsibilities

Requirements

* At least 6 years of experience in a data management role preferably in a financial services institution
* Experience in working on performance measurement and risk data on SimCorp, FactSet, Bloomberg PORT or similar systems
* Strong knowledge and expertise of data management disciplines and practices
* Proficiency in extracting, validating and uploading data across multiple systems
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office and data vendor products (e.g. Bloomberg, IDC, Thomson etc.)
* Knowledge of financial instruments, investment market practices and financial data services across asset classes such as equity, fixed income, derivatives etc.
* Flexibility to work in shifts and additional hours when required
* Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant in a relevant field
