Employment: Full Time

The Department of Geology at the United Arab Emirates University, is seeking applications for a full-time postdoctoral research position in experimental magnetism research. This position is supported by the “University Program for Advanced Research” (UPAR). The postdoctoral work will be part of a project aiming at understanding properties of magnetic materials. Magnetic measurements will be conducted (using PPMS from quantum Design).

Requirements

Minimum Qualification: The successful candidate must hold a PhD in physics, materials science, material chemistry or equivalent.

Preferred Qualification: Previous experience as a postdoc in experimental magnetism.

Expected Skills/Rank/Experience: The candidate must have excellent experience in characterizing and analyzing magnetic properties of materials. The ability to write good research papers is a requirement.

The applicant should also include a CV with the publication list and names of reference persons.
