Job Description
The college of Information Technology at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) seeks one post-doctoral researcher to work in the project entitled " Blockchain technology in biobanks: patient empowerment and data access fairness". Requirements

Minimum Qualification
The postdoc will be responsible for executing scientific research related to biomedical informatics. Background in data governance, semantic modelling, or data privacy are highly desired.

The applicant is required to have a PhD degree in Computer science, clinical/biomedical informatics, or related fields and must possess software development skills.

The candidate will be involved in research collaboration with internal and external partners therefore strong communication skills are required. His/her work will potentially lead to contributions in publications.

Preferred Qualification
Knowledge of cryptography, data privacy, cloud computing or blockchains is favoured.
