Post Holder Maintenance - Aviation Background

Job description / Role

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for operational readiness of all components.
- He/she will plan, direct and coordinate the activities of all maintenance requirements.
- The Maintenance Manager must be able to simultaneously manage all required maintenance modifications and repairs.
- The Manager will inspect and ensure that the repair and overhaul of all Components such as Escape Slides, Oxygen Cylinders, Galley Inserts and Pilot Seats Repair and maintenance is accomplished in accordance with Civil Aviation Administration (CAA) , FAA and GCAA standards.

This position is also required to prepare technical reports.

Requirements

- Fulfill the requirements of the FAA, CAA and GCAA of a “Post Holder”
- A formal technical license or certified and recognized training is required to meet the respective Civil Aviation Authority standards
- Proven experience in a similar role and familiarity with all aspects of component Maintenance Operations
- Thorough understanding of components maintenance operations
- Previous experience dealing with regulatory authorities and in depth knowledge of EASA, FAA regulations
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills and ability to work as part of an integrated management team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills along with analytical problem solving skills and computer proficiency skills are essential
- Advanced ability to problem-solve and react positively to all types of difficult situations
- Good communicator and an excellent motivator and team orientated person
- Excellent skills in personal computer operation, word processing, and spreadsheet
- Strong ethical standards and an appropriate professional image
- Very good skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation, mainframe computer system, and word processing and spreadsheet software programs
- Excellent command of English language
