Job Description
The Computational Physics group at the Department of Physics is seeking a Postdoctoral Appointee with an emphasis in simulation and modelling of modern materials. Strong experience is desired in both theoretical analysis and computational simulation, using VASP. The successful applicant will conduct research on halide perovskites for solar cell applications, photothermal materials based on tungsten oxide, and other similar compounds using VASP. The successful candidate must hold a PhD degree in physics, computational materials.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification
Phd in physics or material science.

Preferred Qualification
Strong experience in using VASP package and other related materials software. packages for the calculations of materials properties.

Expected Skills/Rank/Experience
Publication record that shows the needed expertise in the field.
