Job Description:
A Postdoc position is available at Physics Department-United Arab Emirates University for a joint research project funded by the UAEU and Khalifa University. In this project, applicant is expected to synthesis phase change material thin films, characterize the material, and fabricate an electronic device.
Minimum Qualification:
- Applicants must have an earned PhD of Science degree in physics, materials science and engineering, or any related field with an overall GPA greater than 3.7 from reputable university.
Requirements
Preferred Qualification:
- The applicant must have hands-on experience on the following
Characterization techniques:
- Scanning electron microscopy (SEM)
- Focused ion beam (FIB)
- X-ray diffraction (XRD)
- I-V and C-V electrical characterization
- Transmission electron microscopy (TEM)
Fabrication processes:
- Metallization: sputtering and e-beam evaporation
- Photo-lithography
- Electron beam lithography
- Dry and wet etching
