Job Description
Highly motivated candidates with Ph.D. in Geology, a strong Academic Track record, and relevant experience in sedimentology, geochemistry, and paleoenvironments are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates with demonstrably strong experience in fieldwork, relevant laboratory work, and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment with skills in networking, are highly suited for this position. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in supervising the research of postgraduate students and in managing multiple funded research projects simultaneously.
The selected candidate will be expected to conduct fieldwork, process samples for analysis, thin sections preparation, prepare manuscripts for publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals, assist in supervising/monitoring undergraduate and graduate students and cooperate with the co-investigators in any external funding applications
