Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client, a leading bank in Abu Dhabi is actively searching for a PR and Event Manager to partner with the business.

PR:
• Prepare PR plans for PR activities
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key industry editors and journals
• Enhance the Banks presence through Media Channels (Newspapers, magazines, TV, Radio & online).
• Manage media relations and requests
• Write press releases, Interviews, speeches, briefs and other PR material
• Plan and supervise Media events
• Present solutions in times of PR crisis
• Choose & evaluate PR agencies when required
• Manage and coordinate PR agencies (if applicable), meet with the agency and brief them on job/project requirements, evaluate the project after completion.
• Manage all copy writing and translation requirements.

Event Management:
• Prepare Event plans for the bank’s yearly events as well as budgets.
• Plan and organize all internal & external events such as partnerships, Awards receiving, exhibitions, in-house trainings, career fairs , the VIP visits, customers visits, International delegations, Students visits, BSBA, BOD meetings etc..
• Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
• Handle all aspects of event logistics: place selection, equipment and material, decoration, vendor coordination, catering, professional presenters, giveaways, certificates, trophies and attendees guidance.
• Prepare checklists of all needed requirements for distribution and discussion with the team.
• Prepared the event budget including the estimated costs and got approvals from management.
• Coordinate with media partners when needed.
• Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur.
• Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports.

Requirements

Sponsorship:
• Prepare the yearly plan for Sponsorship projects as well as budgets and supervise the implementation ensuring that key highlights of the Bank achieve relevant media coverage.
• Evaluate sponsorship proposals and recommend to the higher management the suitable and recommended ones for the bank.
• Coordinate and confirm with the organizations & companies the bank’s participation.
• Confirm & follow-up on all sponsorship aspects are implemented as per agreement.
• Invite seniors at the sponsorship event if required
• Attendance with the team if required.
• Submit monthly sponsorship reports.
• Analyze the sponsorship success and prepare evaluation reports.

Corporate Social Responsibility:
• Prepare the yearly plan for CSR projects & initiatives as well as budgets and supervise the implementation ensuring achievement of cost effectiveness of spend and Maximum mileage for the bank.
• Managing CSR projects including setting a CSR policy and coordinate in generating an A+ GRI certified sustainability report.
• Ensure pre and post event evaluations are prepared, approved and filed for future reference.
• Monthly reports to be submitted on CSR Sponsorship effectiveness, budget utilization and mileage.
• Coordinate with TQM Dept. to re-apply for the CSR Label certification from the Dubai Chamber.
• Increase Staff Participation and involvement in CSR activities
