Overview of the Role

What You Will Do
- Drive brand storytelling, organic social media engagement, and media presence for Polestar, BYD, and Yang Wang under Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility.
- Hands-on experience in shooting authentic, low-fi social stories for event coverage.
- Support the development and execution of PR strategies to enhance brand reputation and media exposure.
- Support reviewing press releases, media kits, and editorial pitches.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media, journalists, bloggers, and influencers in the automotive, sustainability, lifestyle, and tech sectors.
- Assist in the execution of press events, media test drives, product launches, and influencer activations.
- Support and liaise with the agency for content calendars, ensuring a balanced mix of brand storytelling, product highlights, influencers, and user-generated content.
- Brief and liaise with agency to schedule and publish high-quality content across platforms (META, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube), ensuring brand consistency and strong visuals.
- Assist in conceptualizing and briefing engaging, platform-specific content (copy, images, videos, reels, and carousels) tailored to each brandu2019s identity.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bacheloru2019s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Media Studies, or related qualifications.
- 2-3 years of experience in PR, social media, and content creation (automotive or lifestyle industry experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of UAEu2019s media landscape, influencer marketing, and social media best practices.
- Experience with copywriting, content creation, and storytelling skills.
- Hands-on experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO, social media advertising, and paid campaigns is a plus.
- Experience in event coordination, media relations, media hosting, and influencer collaboration, with a strong network of industry contacts.
