Job description / Role
This opportunity is with a large Semi-Government company with their office based in Dubai.
As a PR and Corporate Communications Manager, you would be responsible in leading Public Relations and Corporate Communications department to assure brand positioning and ensuring strong representation of the company in the media. You should have a strong competency with both internal and external PR with hands on experience in dealing crisis communication having great relationship with government sectors as well as media, radio & TV stations.
Requirements
You would also be responsible in developing strategic public relations plan and manage the implementation of the brand & communications strategy. Responsible for Promotional PR of special projects and initiatives and measuring the success of PR Campaigns. Ensure close monitoring of public’s and media messages that may directly or indirectly influence the company and proactively present strategic responses to create a positive image and awareness of the company’s brand.
To be successful you would ideally possess 10+ years of PR and Corporate Communications experience, has the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with press and media contacts and government sectors with excellent communication skills having a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication or equivalent.
