Pre Cast Factory Manager

Job description / Role

- Manage and direct all activities related to production department, quality control Division & maintenance division.
- Follow up all correspondences related to the production department to ensure smooth production as per the project planning and specifications.
- Follow up all correspondences related to the quality division to ensure that all elements produced under the company quality control Procedure and inspection plan.
- Follow up all correspondences related to the maintenance division to ensure continous operation.
- Ensure full coordination between the factory divisions.
- Ensure full coordination with design and projects departments.
- Monitoring all operations related to procurement in terms of prices & quality as member of purchasing committee
- Represent the factory in all meetings related to technical and production issue
- Involve in all projects estimation & costing as member of pricing committee
- Assure competency and continuity of specialized personnel are fully capable of achieving management and manufacturing objectives through directing and motivation.
- Develop tactical plans to achieve projects requirements and factory goals.
- Formulate, develop and implement policies and action plans to maximize production & quality.
- Monitor the factory staff performance and Instill amongst all employees Vision, Mission Culture and Quality Objectives.
- Prepare plans for future extension and ensure continuous improvement in all areas of operations.
- Prepare operational reports for top management
- Perform any other related duties assigned by the general manager

About the Company

By way of a brief introduction to National Marine Dredging Company, in 1976 as a dredging division of ADNOC a board decision was taken to form an autonomous dredging company reporting to its own Board of Directors. NMDC was founded and commenced trading in its own right on 1st January 1980.

We are a National Company owned 40% by the Government of Abu Dhabi and 60% by UAE Nationals and registered as a public company trading on the Abu Dhabi stock exchange with a registered paid up capital asset value of Dhs 169,000,000-00. Currently our business is conducted from our modern premises which include multi-discipline workshops, slip ways and a fully support administration and technical departments located in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi with subsidiary office in Zayed the Second St, Abu Dhabi.
