Job description / Role
Pre-Sales Consultant will be responsible for all technical pre-sales activities including preparation of specifications for projects, working on RFPs & bids, managing technical matters relating to structured cabling, fiber optics, test equipment and data center products, arranging training to Topnet sales staff and customers. He will also liaise with vendors for technical clarifications.
The person will also deliver technical training for BICSI, FOA and AVIXA certification and vendor certification (Leviton, Fluke Networks). The trainings will be in any of the GCC countries and India.
Requirements
The right candidate will have at least 10 years of technical experience in the IT / Telecom / Networking field. He should have at least 5 years of hands-on installation experience in copper and fiber optic cabling and at least 5 years of design experience in designing structured cabling systems for commercial premises. If he has any hands-on experience in designing and installing AV systems, it will be an advantage.
He must have UAE experience and driving licence. Degree level education, preferably engineering is a minimum requirement. BICSI credential such as RCDD, Installer 2, Technician will be an added advantage. He should be willing to study and prepare for various credential programs.
Excellent communication skills and presentation skills are must.
The person must be ready to work in this environment for at least ten years.
